Lila Pauline Turner Shealy was born on February 19, 1931 in Saluda County to Luther Leroy Turner and Eva Wheeler Turner. She died February 8, 2026 at the age of 94. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family which included her brothers, Allison, Cecil, and Avery Turner.
She is survived by her daughter, Gale Smith of Chapin; son, Dale (Phyllis) Shealy of Chapin; grandchildren, Monica (John) Griner of Irmo, Melinda Krell of Chapin, David (Kelly) Smith of Chapin, and Adam Shealy of Chapin. Great-grandchildren include Reagan Krell, Carson Krell, Peyton Smith, Madison Smith, and Eli Griner.
She was predeceased by her husband, Albert F. Shealy and son, Brad Shealy.
There will be a visitation and celebration from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Friday, February 13, 2026 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home – Lexington Chapel, 503 North Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29072.
