

Neal is survived by his wife, Christina Bickley (Hogan); his children, Allie and Abigail; his father, O'Neal Bickley; his brother, Rex Bickley (Anna) and nephew, Isaac. He was preceded in death by his mother, Miriam Bickley (Shealy).
Neal was born on October 24, 1967 and graduated from Chapin High School. After studying for a year at Midland Technical College, he went to work at Lexington County Public Works, where he retired in 2016 after 30 years. He returned to work at McClam and Associates where he spent the last five years. He loved his family deeply, was a lifelong Clemson fan, and enjoyed spending time outdoors and grilling/cooking for his friends and family. Neal was a Master Mason of Boyleston Lodge 123. He was a founding and active member of the Chapin Bass Club and loved all things fishing and hunting.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, September 10, 2021 at St. Thomas Lutheran Church in Chapin, SC. Burial will follow immediately after the service at Newberry Memorial Gardens. The family requests that those in attendance dress casual. For those who cannot attend, the service will be live streamed on the Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel's Facebook page. A visitation will be held Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel.
