Mrs. Sturgeon was born April 6, 1932 in Columbia, SC, and passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Westley L. and Martha E. Dixon Branham.
She is survived by her son, Charles R. “Rusty” Dawkins (Linda) of Batesburg; daughter, Martha A. Bates of Chapin; 14 grandchildren, and brothers, Randy Oswalt and J. L. Branham. She was predeceased by her daughter, Dyonna Sturgeon; son, Terry Paul Dawkins and a son-in-law, Joe Bates.
Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel, is assisting the family with arrangements.
