CHAPIN – Funeral services for Paul Lee Prosser, 81, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2014 at Salem United Methodist Church with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel. Pallbearers will be six grandchildren.
Mr. Prosser was born December 16, 1932 in Cloverdale, IA and passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2014. He was a son of the late Joseph L. Prosser and Marie Sharbondy Prosser Dummett. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and served his country in the United States Army. He and Janet enjoyed living on Lake Murray for 54 years. He was a retired self employed engineer.
Surviving are his wife, Janet of Chapin; daughters, Dr. Tina McCartha of Chapin and Laura Barnes of West Columbia; seven grandchildren, Crystal, Shannon, Jesse and Grace McCartha and Zachary, Bree and Banks Barnes.
