

Sharon Peeples Slice, born July 11, 1958, passed away surrounded by the love of family and friends who will forever cherish her memory. Sharon was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and friend whose life was defined by compassion, service, and unwavering love for those around her.
Sharon dedicated much of her life to working as a Montessori teacher, where she was deeply beloved by her students. Her patience, kindness, and encouragement helped shape countless young lives. Teaching was more than a profession for Sharon—it was a calling. She took great joy in nurturing curiosity, guiding children and creating a classroom where every student felt valued. She was also an avid animal lover.
Above all else, Sharon loved and adored her two sons, Adam Slice and Ryan Slice. They were the center of her world, and she was endlessly proud of the men they became. Sharon’s greatest joy continued through her Grandchildren, Hayden Slice and Kayleigh Slice, who brought immense happiness and joy to her life.
Known for her selfless nature, Sharon always put the needs of others before her own. Whether caring for family, friends, students or her animals, she was someone people could rely on for comfort, support, and love. Her generosity of spirit left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
Sharon also held a deep love for her country and a profound respect for those who serve in the military. She carried great appreciation for the sacrifices made by service members and their families.
She is lovingly survived by her sons, Ryan Slice (Lindsay) and Adam Slice; her cherished grandchildren, Hayden Slice and Kayleigh Slice; her brother, Philip Peeples (JoNell); and her devoted partner, Robert Rowe.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Michael Slice, her mother Meda Jean Peeples; her father Andrew Peeples; and her brother Danny Peeples.
Visitation will be held at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home - Chapin Chapel, 123 Columbia Ave, Chapin, SC 29036, on March 24, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
A graveside service honoring Sharon’s life will take place at St. Jacob's Lutheran Church Cemetery, 844 Columbia Avenue, Chapin, SC 29036, on March 25, 2026, at 12:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate her life, share memories, and honor the love she gave so freely to others.
In remembrance of Sharon’s generous and caring spirit, those who wish to honor her memory are encouraged to perform an act of kindness for someone in need or support the education of young children—two causes that reflected her lifelong dedication to caring for others and nurturing the next generation.
Sharon’s legacy of kindness, devotion, and love for family will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
