

Annabelle L. Tucker, 86, of Charleston, went to be with the Lord Friday, April 17, 2015, after a short illness. She was born July 26, 1928, in Charleston a daughter of the late Leondias and Artie Harper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Tucker. Annabelle was a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School. She was school bus driver for Kanawha County Schools, a member of Bible Center Church, and she was an active member of the Senior Citizens Olympic Games, where she excelled at shuffleboard. Surviving include her daughter, Carol Saunders (Mike) of Glen; one son, William “Bill” Fulton Tucker of Kanawha City; four grandchildren, Jonathon Stolman, Jennifer Dennison, Joy Burford, and Lori Crist; three great-grandchildren, Michael and Nicholas Hartwell, and Holley Dennison. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday April 21, at Wilson Funeral Home, 420 Lee St. West, with Pastor Bob Jett officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, Charleston. Visitation will be two hours prior to the services at the funeral home.
