Margaret Lynn Jenkins Finney

Margaret Lynn VanCleve Finney of Charleston lost her battle with cancer on Sunday, June 22, 2014. She is survived by her mother Frances Jenkins VanCleve of Charleston, daughters Darlene Lowery of South Charleston & Debbie Carroll (Fred) of Hurricane; her grandchildren Russell Carroll, Norah Carroll and Liam Carroll of Hurricane; Brothers Russell VanCleve (Kathy) of Newport Beach, CA and John VanCleve (Mary) of New Albany, Indiana; Sister Barbara Astrino (John) of Stow, Ohio, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a lifelong member of Charleston Baptist Temple where she sung in the choir, taught Sunday school, and volunteered in many groups over the years. She loved music and played for Kanawha Valley Community Band, Charleston B-Ties and Little Big Band Trio to name a few. She loved her family, church family and musician community. Her family is thankful to her special neighbors, friends, and Kanawha Hospice team for their support. Memorial service will be held at Charleston Baptist Temple 209 Morris St. Charleston, WV 25301 Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 1pm with visitation one hour prior to service. Dr. Dennis Johnson will be officiating.
