Agnes B. Rankin

Mrs. Rankin, age 76, of Charlotte, died Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Presbyterian Hospital - Main. Born June 18, 1936 in Robison County, she was a daughter of the late Fred Bissell and Bessie Barnes Bissell. Mrs. Rankin was formerly an insurance adjuster for Harleysville Insurance Company. She was a charter member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church.

The service to celebrate the life of Agnes Bissell Rankin will be held 2:00 PM Friday, June 20th in the chapel of Wilson Funeral & Cremation Service with Reverend Sarah Kalish, officiating. Entombment will follow in Sharon Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Earl C. Rankin; son-in-law, Joe Crum and granddaughter, Amanda Crum, both of Ohio; and two sisters, Frederia Stephens and Glenda Mauney, both of Lumberton. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rankin was preceded in death by her daughter, Lynn Rankin Crum; and two brothers, Don Bissell and Herbert Bissell.
