

Alice Bundy Harper Glover, 87, of Charlotte, NC, died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, January 26, 2014, at the Hospice House at the Southminster retirement community. She was born on September 9, 1926, in Bethel, NC, the daughter of the late Judge William James “Dick” Bundy and Ruth Carson Bundy. She is survived by her son, John W. “Bill” Harper of North Myrtle Beach, SC and her daughter, Sherry Leigh Harper, of Fort Mill, SC.
Bundy grew up in Greenville, NC where she completed her secondary education. She went on to attend school at Greensboro College and then earned her degree from UNC-Chapel Hill. She later moved to Rocky Mount, NC where she taught dancing and worked as a buyer in a clothing store. She moved to Orlando, FL but returned to the Carolinas, spending most of her later years in Morehead City, NC before moving to the Charlotte area. She loved music, animals, reading, traveling and was an avid duplicate bridge player.
Visitation will take place from 5:30-6:30p.m. on Thursday, January 30th, 2014, at the McEwen-Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road in Charlotte, NC, followed by A Celebration of Life service at 6:30p.m.
