The family will receive friends from 2:00 o’clock to 3:00 o’clock followed by a service to celebrate her life at 3:00 o’clock Monday, May 12, 2014 in the Charlotte Chapel of McEwen Funeral Service, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC 28212. Interment will be in Sharon Memorial Park followed by a reception back at the Funeral Home.
Babs is survived by her mother Judy Lance and stepfather Larry; brother Michael Daugherty and wife Jessica; nieces Alysa and Miranda; aunt Chris Daugherty; numerous cousins and the hundreds of people she called and talked to daily.
She was preceded in death by her father Mike Daugherty.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Levine-Dickson Hospice House Southminster, 8919 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28209.
