Andri Bruno Lindsay

Andri graduated from Independence High School located in Charlotte NC in 1979.

He was a devoted worker and held several positions during his lifetime, including a certified forklift operator, building service technician, chef, maintenance worker, security guard, warehouse worker and tire builder.

Andri was a dedicated and hard worker and took pride in his craft.

His hobbies were fishing, watching sports and working out at the YMCA with his friends, he also loved listening to old school R&B music.

Andri was preceded in death by his mother and father.

He is survived by his sons, Andri Jr. Massey and his wife Shenitra Massey, Aaron Damorris Dunham and his wife Jessica Nicole Dunham, Trent Filmore, Mario Bennett, Kenneth Dunham, and Jordan Lindsay; his daughters, Sherika Antoinette Thomas and Porshia Weathers; and grandchildren, Andre Mckale Massey, Ki’asiah Massey, Me’khi Massey, and Skylar Massey, Devon Aaron Dunham, Jaylen Damorris Dunham, K’seon Horton, Ashton Harrison, Trevious Dunham, Maison Bennett, Charles Daquan Sifford.

He is also survived by his brothers, Jimmie Lee Lindsay Jr. and wife Tynetta Lindsay, Newton Asbury; his sister, Sylvia Alexander; nieces, Latasha McCleave, Latoya Young, Malikah Akbar, Chene’ Alexander, Tylan Alexander, Lamonica Asbury and Naporche Asbury; great-nieces, Treasure Young, Laiyah Rivens, Janiyah Black; and great-nephews, Joshua Young and Khale Black; and his special lifelong partner and friend, Gloria Weathers. In addition to many other family members and friends that he loved and cherished deeply.

A celebration of life for Andri will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 2:00 PM at McEwen Funeral Home-Pineville, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28210. The family will receive friends following the service.
