Annie Ann Irvine Baldwin

Annie Irvine Baldwin, of Charlotte, NC passed away peacefully at the age of 86 on January 13, 2012. Ann as she was known to family and friends was born and educated in Belfast, North Irelalnd. Ann was the daughter of the late Robert Dougherty Irvine and Emma Davison Irvine of Belfast, North Ireland. She was preceded in death by her siblings Robert Irvine, Rae Hanna, and Jeremiah Irvine. Survivors include her loving husband of 64 years Robert M. Baldwin, daughter Heather A. Baldwin of Beaufort, SC. Son Michael R. Baldwin Sr., wife Lynn, and three grandsons Michael Jr., Matthew and Grant Baldwin of Poughquag, NY. Ann was a loving and giving child of god to all who knew her. She was a 42 year breast cancer survivor and an active volunteer helping others in the Reach for Recovery Program. Ann also volunteered at hospitals for many years. Ann enjoyed playing golf and tennis with her friends and traveled extensively with her family, as well as enjoying a 73 year correspondence with her pen pal.

The family will receive friends from 2:00pm to 3:30pm on Saturday January 21, 2012 at McEwen Pineville Chapel 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28210.

Honoring Ann’s wishes, a private Celbration of Life service will be held at a later date by her family.
