Born on Feb 12, 1939, in Newark, New Jersey, and resided in Charlotte since 1971. He was incredibly proud to serve his country in the US Army and worked as a business owner in the textile industry.
The joy of Art's entire life was his family. He adored his wife of 61 years, Annette. He was a devoted husband, dad, and grandfather, known to them as Pepa. He treated each with unconditional love.
He is survived by his wife, Annette, and three children, Jason, Dori, and Sheri; his daughter-inlaw Janice Lustig; and his sons-in-law, Scott Hirsch and Eric Sayman, whom he treated like his own. He also is survived by his five grandchildren, Ryan, Evan, Carter, Davis, and Nicolas.
