Barbara was born May 2nd, 1926 in New Jersey and was the daughter of William and Loretta Rinck.
Barbara is preceded in death by her brother Bill Rinck.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years Robert Allen of Charlotte, her daughter Judy Buchanan of Charlotte, her daughter Mary Beth Scott of Byhalia, MS, her son Bill Liebler (Meloney) of Huntersville and grandchildren James Buchanan (Suzy), Dusty Scott and Chris Scott, and Shelby Liebler.
Barbara lived a life that spanned so many significant events – The Great Depressions, WWII, the cultural revolution, radio to television to the internet, space travel and seeing a new century come to be. Through it all she lived a life that was focused on family, friends, and a welcoming home. She worked hard to obtain an education in medical office management in her mid-40’s after relocating to Charlotte and helped manage a thriving dermatology practice for more than 20 years. She met Robert Allen and they built a wonderful life together over the last 45 years spending many of those years enjoying retirement living on the shore of Lake Wylie and having family members and friends come out to swim, boat and fish and enjoy the beauty of the lake.
