Betty graduated from Oakhurst High school. She worked for Carolina Brace in Charlotte, NC and then at General Time in Mooresville, NC until she retired. Betty enjoyed being on the lake, driving her speed boat and swimming. She loved her cats, plants and flowers.
Betty in preceded in death by her loving husband Haywood Lee Butler ; sister Peggy Burrows. She is survived by her sister Frances Broome of Mint Hill, NC; brother Bobby Davis (Carolyn) of Charlotte, NC; caregiver Pam Parker of Indian Trail, NC; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at McEwen Funeral Service, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte beginning at 1:00pm. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00pm. Interment will take place at Sharon Memorial Park.
Arrangements are under the care of McEwen Funeral Service, Charlotte.
