Betty J. Clark, 85, of Greer, SC, formerly of Charlotte, NC, passed away peacefully in her home on June 6, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 8, 1934 in Wadesboro, NC, she was the daughter of Roy and Janie Mae (Liles) Tarlton. She married Bradford “Buck” Clark on October 8, 1960 in York, SC.
Betty was a member of Living Branch Ministries, and before that of West Mecklenburg Baptist Church. She enjoyed dancing, cooking, traveling, spoiling her grandbabies, and watching western movies.
She is survived by her daughters, Cathy Koffler and Tracy (Aaron) Miles; grandson, Marcus (Megan) Hatley; great-grandsons, Ayden and Phoenix Hatley; and brother, Larry Tarlton. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Martha Tarlton.
Funeral Service 1 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Forest Lawn West Funeral and Cremation Service, 4601 Freedom Dr. Charlotte, NC. Visitation 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
