Betty Lou Nantz Hart, age 83 of Charlotte passed away September 9, 2014 at her residence. A service to celebrate her life will be at 11:00AM Thursday, September 11th in the Paul Helton Chapel of Forest Lawn West Funeral Home, Pastor Randy Wall and Chaplain Linda Miller officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior (10-11AM) to the service. Mrs. Hart was born August 5, 1931 in Charlotte daughter of the late G. E. and Blanche Cloninger Nantz. She was a member of Chapman Memorial Baptist Church, a graduate of Paw Creek High School and had been employed by Leaksville Woolen Mill, retiring as a billing clerk. Surviving are a daughter, Teresa Hallman and husband Terry, of Chharlotte grandchildrern, Melissa Hallman and fiance’ Danny Hawley and Aaron Hallman, sisters, Ruth Little of Charlotte and Rebecca Felsman of Granite Falls, NC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Hart, sisters, Josephine Canupp, Martha Mauney and a brother, Kenneth Nantz.
