Uncle Buddy, Buz, Benjie, Carol, and the entire Holder family: Little can be added to the entries already here but much can be said in repetition for the beautiful life Aunt Betty lived.  She displayed a true Proverbs 31 woman of God.  She was a wife of noble character worth far more than rubies. She brought goodness and hard work all the days of her life.  She provided for her family...love, laughter, kindness and joy. She reached out to all with the same equality of love.  She opened her arms to the poor, the needy...those who needed a kind touch.  She was crafty with her hands and generous with her time.  She spoke with the wisdom of her faith and watched over the affairs of her household.  She revered the Lord which brings praises.  Most, 'Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.' Prov 31:29.

She will be missed for sure but leaves with me an example of a spiritual life well lived and well loved.

Buddy and family,  I was so sorry to hear of Betty's death.  Anita and I enjoyed visiting with Betty and Buddy while they lived near us at Lake Norman.  I also enjoyed being in school with her at Berryhill from the 7th through the 12th grades, and especially singing a duet with her at a Class Night.  We sang "Too Young" ("They try to tell us we're too young, too young to really be in love".  Of course we were not in love, we never even dated, but I was please that she mentioned our singing, when Anita and I first visited her and Buddy at the Lake.  God bless you all!!

I worked with Betty in the Legal Department of BellSouth/Southern Bell.  Such a talented and gracious lady.  She was so proud of her family and not a day went by that she did not mention one of you.  Such a blessing to have known her.

Buddy and Family  -  SO sorry to hear of the death of Betty.  She and I worked together at Southern Bell for several years and later we would see each other at Metrolina. We became instant friends when she built next door.  After retirement we had many adventures that I have cherished. She will always be in my prayers. My thoughts and prayers go to her family.

Ms Betty was the first person we met when looking at our home in Denver.  She was so gracious and welcoming.  We loved our time spent with Betty and Buddy and visiting even after they moved.  Prayers for the Holder family and treasured blessings for all she has given to so many.

One of the nicest, sweetest people to walk the face of the earth.  She and Buddy were true to the end to Mother and I shall always have a special memory for them.  Know that she looks upon us now and smiles.
