Billie W. Osborne

Charlotte - Billie Way Osborne, 89, passed away on August 13, 2014. She was born in Greensboro, NC on December 8, 1924, the daughter of Henry Clay Way and Oneto Overman Way. She had one brother and three sisters.

Billie was a loving wife and dedicated mother of four children. In addition to creating a warm, welcoming home, she enjoyed an active social life, entertaining, playing golf and bridge with friends and family.

Billie's loving husband of 67 years, Earl Wise Osborne, predeceased her. She is survived by her daughter, Dawn (Greg) Riehm; sons, Jerry W. (Vicky) Osborne, Terry L. (Margie) Osborne, and Ronald E. (Pat) Osborne. Her seven grandchildren and two great-grandsons will deeply miss their kind and gentle "Grandmaw".

The family will receive friends from 10:00-10:45 am Saturday, Aug. 16 at Harry and Bryant Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. The graveside service will be held at 3 pm at Guilford Memorial Park in Greensboro.
