Mr.and Mrs. Tripp, I am so sorry for your loss. I don't know how well Blake would remember me... but EVERYONE knew, and loved your son, including me.  He was the apittime of the word "sweetheart."  I feel blessed to have been in school with him. He was an amazing, joyful soul.  He was so kind to everyone.  I admired him very much.  I will be praying for your family during this difficult time.

I had the pleasure of working with Blake at Winn-Dixie and he quickly became a good friend as well.  I was saddened to hear of his passing, but will always remember his smile and his great sense of humor.  My prayers are with the Tripp family during this difficult time.  Rest in peace Blake, until we meet again.

One's thing for sure, everybody liked Blake Tripp.

Blake escorted my daughter, Karla McBride, to the Junior-Senior Prom at S. Mecklenburg High School. Blake was a junior and Karla was a sophomore. I have pictures made in my house before they left for the prom...they were a handsome couple.

I am making a donation in Tripp's memory to Juvenile Diabetes Research.

I worked for Blake's dad Mr. Tripp at Winn Dixie for years.I had the privilage of meeting Blake there and working with him at Bi-Lo. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.He was a sweet man who will be missed.

I had the pleasure of living in the same neighborhood and going to school with both Kim and Blake... and one of my favorite high school memories is of a trip we took to a camp in Colorado my senior year in which Blake and Jay and Tim and Steve and Paul and George were the funniest, craziest, sweetest bunch of guys EVER!!!  Will always cherish that trip and the permanent, sweet grin on Blake's face!!  Thanks for sharing him with us :)

I didn't know Blake personally, but I know his sister, Kim, very well and over the years have heard wonderful things about her brother, so I felt I knew him.  She is a wonderful, sweet lady so I know he had to be a great man as well.  I pray God's blessings of comfort and peace to the family. My condolences to Blake's family.  It saddens me to hear about this.  He and my son, Jay Johnson were best friends in Jr. and High School and all the years thereafter.  Blake was the sweetest and funniest and was loved by my whole family. We will all miss him.  May God bring strength and peace to his family.

Blake, I don't even know that you'd remember me from Quail Hollow, but I remember your sweet smile and boyish timidity from Junior High School.  I'm so sorry you had long-sufferred from Diabetes, but I know you are in a better place where you can watch over those you loved.  I will pray for you and your family.  God bless and keep you.

I am a  fellow classmate of Blake from South Mecklenberg High School . He will truely be missed by his friends and Family/  The world will be a more lonely place without him.

I knew Blake professionally from Bi-Lo but I felt I knew him personally.  He was always one of the first to acknowledge people with a smile and a hello.  In our case he was the first to volunteer to use his truck to drive a bench to our house when it wouldn't fit in our car. Our truck was in the shop. You see, he didn't have to do that but that was just a small way that a big hearted guy responded.  I am shocked over his passing so young and I will miss him.  He was one of the best examples of someone who could connect to strangers and make them feel you'd known him all his life.  I valued him as a wonderful human being and his absence leaves the world sad.  I won't ever forget him and hope that every time I think of him I'll do something kind for someone else in his memory.  I hope someone is holding Annie because she will need special love and attention.  That bond lasts beyond time.
