Bobby W. Funderburk, age 86 of Charlotte went to be with our Lord on June 1, 2013. Born in Pageland, SC on February 7, 1928 he was the son of the late Park and Nina Funderburk. He served his country proudly in the Marines and the Army, also the owner of F&F Woodworks for many years. He is survived by his three children: Bobby Funderburk, Jackie Nixon and Angie Burgess; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, and a sister Rachel Mack. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at Forest Lawn West Funeral Home, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, 2PM at Berry Hill Baptist Church, 9801 Walker’s Ferry Rd., Charlotte. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to Berry Hill Baptist Church Missions.
