Bobby Hunt Stalnaker

Bobby was born in Chester, SC on January 21st, 1942. He attended Great Falls High School. He married Shirley Jean Estes on May 21st 1974 in Wilksburg, South Carolina.

In 1978 he started working for Stork Screen Printing in Charlotte. He worked his way up to Supervisor and was with them for 30 years. After retirement he worked part time for Golden Gait Trailers and set up at Pineville Flea Market on the weekends where he enjoyed talking and cutting up with his many friends.

He was an avid Guitar player and was popular for repairing and tuning guitars for friends and customers throughout the years. His other hobbies were Golfing and Collecting. He was into everything and would collect all he could find on the subject he was into at the time. He would spend his days on his porch, where he was most happy. You could find him there with his wife of 49 years, laughing and telling stories with friends who would drop by and one or more of his grandchildren. He loved to watch Golf and NASCAR. His family is most proud of him always being a good friend, a great husband, a loving father, and the best Paw Paw.

Bobby is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Mullis and Daughter, Barbara Gregory.

Bobby is survived by his Wife, Shirley Estes Stalnaker. His Daughter, Phyllis Liles (Chris). His Son, Joey Stalnaker. His Grandchildren, Robert Dennis Owen, William Brett “Rusty” Owen (Elizabeth), Jessica Leigh Owen. His Great Grandchildren, Annorah, Liam, Cullen, Laina, and Malcolm.
