A native of Charlotte, Bonnie was born to the late Charles Ray Pope and Madeline Efird Pope on May 7, 1950. She retired from Duff-Norton after 30 years of service. Bonnie had a love for gardening and was an avid collector of pig themed items. She was also very crafty, enjoyed traveling and spending time with her two grandchildren.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Eric Pigg of Charlotte; son, Steve Pigg and wife Tina of Charlotte; brother, Charles Pope and wife Anne of Crystal River, FL; grandchildren, Branson and Madison Pigg.
A memorial service will be held 4:00p.m., Saturday, December 29 in the chapel at Wilson Funeral and Cremation Service, 5301 Albemarle Rd., Charlotte.
