Brenda McManus Moore

Brenda Moore, 68¸ of Pineville, NC passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2011 surrounded by her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Brenda was born in Pineville, NC to the late Paul and Helen McManus on October 30, 1942. She worked at Cone Mills, Pineville plant for 19 years and TJ Maxx warehouse for 10 years.

She is survived by 6 loving children, Melissa Goodwin, Renee Hicks, Herbie Moore, Annette Knopp, Vickie Rhyne and Michael Moore. She had 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Other survivors include 3 brothers, Jerry McManus, Jimmy Joe McManus and Mike McManus. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gayle Moore and a son Frankie Moore and a sister, Patricia Ann McManus.

Pallbearers will be Frankie Knopp, Paul Moore, Brandon Moore, Cody Hicks, Dalton Rhyne, Herbie Moore, Kim Knopp and Bryan Petty.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at McEwen Funeral Service Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Rd., Charlotte, NC at 11:00 am with Mr. Kennthy Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Pineville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at McEwen Funeral Service in Pineville.
