Brenda Riggs Reavis

She was born on the 27th of July, 1945 in Charlotte, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Guy Montgomery Riggs and Fannie Jones Riggs. She was a 1963 graduate of Garinger High School.

Brenda was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved everything in nature – working in her gardens, feeding and watching the birds, and fishing. You could easily find her getting lost in a good book. She loved to read!

She is survived by her three children: Amy Childers and her husband, Kevin; Kimberly Boik, and her son, Keith Reavis and his wife, Jennifer; her grandchildren: Amanda Innerfield, Katie Diegelman, Hunter Boik, Samuel Reavis, and Lilly Reavis; two great grandchildren: Jameson and Talia Innerfield, and two very special cousins: Judy and Janice Parks. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Roy Robert Reavis, in June of 2024 and two brothers: Jerald and Richard Riggs.

The Reavis family will have a private service at Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
