Bronislawa (Babcia) grew up in the countryside of Poland. During her life there, she was taking care of her family and farm.
After the passing of her husband, she moved to America in 1987 to be with her son, Janek, and his wife, Bozena, to help raise their children, Tristan and Deanna. She was a big part of the family and enjoyed cooking Polish food including the world’s best bread, soups, and Nalesniki (crepes).
She was an avid watcher of Catholic Program Channels and prayed daily. Babcia was a big part of raising Tristan and Deanna in Polish culture and the Catholic faith. She was always teaching them life lessons and sharing stories of her own life. She was active, independent, and full of humor up to her last days.
Babcia will be missed greatly by her family and friends.
Left to mourn her loss are her devoted children Krystyna Ryszkowska, Edward Adamczuk, Kazimiera Lubczuk, Stanislaw Adamczuk, Jan Adamczuk and Jerzy Adamczuk, eighteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by husband Franciszek Adamczuk and son Ryszard Adamczuk.
A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 11am on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church located at 3016 Providence Road in Charlotte. The family will greet friends in the narthex starting at 10am.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested prayers and/or a Mass to be offered for the repose of the soul of Bronislawa.
