She was born on August 21, 1925 in Montgomery, AL to the late Carol Seymour and Jewel Carreker Taylor.
Carol will be remembered as a loving mother, realtor, seamstress and homemaker.
Mrs. Holden is survived by three sons, Robert T. Holden, Brett C. Holden and Gregg T. Holden; granddaughter, Jocelyn Bolin and spouse; grandson, Christopher Davidson and great grandson, Milo Bolin.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Needham Claudius Holden, Jr.; son, Russell C. Holden and daughter, Karen E. Holden.
A memorial service will be held at two o’clock in the afternoon on Monday, the 30th of January, 2017 at McEwen Funeral Service Sharon Chapel, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC 28212.
