Born February 16, 1944, he was the son of the late Charles B. Anderson, R. and Lillian Roberts. Charles was married to Phyllis (DiCalegero) Anderson who passed before him on September 24, 2021. They had been married for 50 years.
Charles loved sailing, boating, fishing, motorcycles, and drag racing. He worked for Amtrak as a Safety Officer and retired from that position. Charles served in the Army during the Vietnam War.
He leaves behind a loving family of eight stepchildren: Frank Catalfamo of Chatham, NY, Charles Catalfamo, Jr. an wife Karen of Port Richey, FL, Paul Catalfamo of Chatham, NY, Donna Mazza & husband Dennis of Charlotte, NC, Michelle (Catalfamo) Scott of Nashua, NH, Cheryll Grande & husband Scott of Pelham, NH, Maryann Waldman of Charlotte, NC, also eighteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Charles was predecesed by his son John Catalfamo and Charlie's daughter-in-law Mary Ellen Catalfamo.
