

Charles “Charlie” Louis Tudor, Jr., 85, of Charlotte, NC, entered eternal rest with his Heavenly Father on March 25, 2022. He was born December 8, 1936, to the late Charles Louis Tudor, Sr. and Helen Marie Bird Tudor in Staten Island, NY.
As a young man, Charlie attended Rutgers University, and graduated from Monmouth College. He served honorably in the United States Army as a specialist with the 1st Cav Div. He was deployed to Korea where he served as a Chaplain’s assistant. Later, he enjoyed a career in sales, working with people and sharing the in-depth knowledge he had, especially of Photography. He was known as a jokester who loved to make people laugh. In his early years he enjoyed using his creative abilities to build and make intricately designed surf-fishing rods. He also loved using his artistic abilities in his photography. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed nature and road-trip travel. He was a voracious reader who especially liked history.
Charlie was predeceased by his first wife and mother of his children, Nevelyn Opal Weldon; his second wife, Margaret Hughes; his beloved daughter, Alicia Lynn Tudor, and his sister, Joan Gawell.
He is survived by daughters Marie Greenwood and husband, Steve, of Clover, SC; Leslie Kasdaglis and husband, Nicholas, of Viera, FL; Tori McKay and husband, Dan, of Abbeville, SC; and a beloved “adopted” daughter, Michelle Stone McCadams, of Keysville, VA. He leaves behind his grandchildren Steve and Chris Greenwood, Elle and Eli McKay, and Brendon Hayes, as well as his bonus grandchildren, Caleb, Abbie, Bethany, Matthew, and Gabriella, and his great-grandchildren Lillian, Olivia, and Erin, and bonus great-grandchildren Elijah, Levi, Amari, Ivan, Rae, and Avary.
There will be a private service at Fort Jackson Cemetery in Columbia, SC on a date to be determined.
