Christine Marie Pardee was born in Racine, Wisconsin on November 4, 1989. At a young age she moved to the New Orleans area which led to her lifelong love of that city. During her grammar school days she moved to the Charlotte area. Christine was a graduate of South Mecklenburg High School and the University of North Carolina, Greensboro where she majored in Theatre and English. After graduation, Christine spent three years in France as an au pair and English teacher.
Christine loved music of all types. For one of the trivia nights at her workplace for the rap music category she sang them as opera songs and the participants had to guess the titles. She had a lovely singing voice. She enjoyed the theatre and became active in it in middle school. She continued her acting career in high school and stayed involved in it all her life. She loved to write and was an active member of a storytellers group. She would often entertain friends and family with witty and animated tales.
Christine’s infectious smile brought joy to all. Her friends delighted in her spontaneous singing and dancing. She was sensitive to the needs of others and a loving and was a caring young woman who felt deeply the joys and sorrows of this life.
Christine is survived by her parents, John and Teresa Pardee, and her brother, Jay. She will be greatly missed by them and many many others.
“May flights of angels sing her to her rest.”
