Chue Vang was born on June 10, 1932, in Laos. She was the oldest daughter of Sang Xue and Mai Chang. In 1979, Chue immigrated to the United States of America and settled in San Diego, California after the American Secret War in Laos ended.
A member of Charlotte Hmong Alliance Church, she was blessed and loved abundantly. She enjoyed gardening and socializing with friends and family.
Chue is survived by her two sons Xai and Pao Vang. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and sister, Lay Chang.
Chue is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Song Sue Vang, sisters, Chia and Vang, brother, Pang, and three sons, Khua, Gao and Thai.
A visitation and funeral ceremony for Chue will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM in the chapel of McEwen Funerals & Cremations at Forest Lawn West, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC 28208. Services will conclude on Monday, July 21, 2025 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at the funeral home with burial in Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
