

Claire Campbell, 89, of Charlotte, passed away at her residence peacefully on September 11, 2010. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all that knew and loved her.
She was born on December 12, 1920 in Portland, Oregon. Most of her professional life she was a secretary for the Seimans Corporation USA and she was a charter member of the Sharon United Methodist Church here in Charlotte.
Survivors include her daughter Sandra C. Singleton and her husband Perry of Arlington, TX; a son Stan Campbell and his wife Mary of Charlotte, NC; three granddaughters Stacey S. Olsen and her husband Robert of New York, NY, Megan M. Grey of Winston-Salem, NC and Kaley S. Campbell; two grandsons Dr. Brad C. Singleton and his wife Heather of Austin, TX and Matthew A. Campbell “Mac”; two great grandchildren Carter and Zane Singleton.
A Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, September 18, 2010 at the home of Stan and Mary Campbell, 7210 Trevor Ct. in Charlotte from 11:00 until 2:00 pm. The family would like to recognize the management and staff of the Regency Retirement Village for the care of Mrs. Campbell.
