Our deepest sympathies to Cindy's family.  My brother Jerry Edward Harbin (RIP) graduated with Cindy.  I was a couple of years ahead of them.

Cindy was far more complex than the smiling, friendly, ever-polite woman that most people who visited the library were familiar with.  She was bright, loving, curious, and loved her family and Monal and his family immensely. She was a pillar of support and service for over 30 years at Independence Branch Library (IRL), but she was a very special person beyond and outside her library service.  I was privileged to know her and can't believe I won't see her again. Emilee, I am so sorry for your loss.

Cindy always had sparkling smile that she was ready to share with anyone, anytime. She made a positive difference in this world.

I had the pleasure of working with Cindy at Independence and she was always smiling and laughing.

I worked with Cindy at Independence where she brought joy to all. She had a great sense of humor and I loved sharing a good laugh or even a giggle with her. We shared similarities growing up with and coping with chronic illness and she set a positive example of quiet strength and grace. I loved her.

Long time co work and friend . She will be deeply missed. Prayers go out to the family.

I'm very sad, but so honored to have called Cindy my dear friend. My utmost and heartfelt sympathy to her family, during a very difficult time.

I am sorry to read of the recent loss. May the God of all comfort be with the family at this most difficult time.

Cindy was my first supervisor when I began working at the library many years ago and became a wonderful lifelong friend.  She had such a genuine, caring heart, always concerned about others.  I will miss her smile and wit, and the love she showed me.  I will miss my sweet Cindy.

Cindy amazed us with her strength and courage, smiling on good days and bad. Thank you for all you have given me - a career that I have loved for many years, your mentorship, love and support.  You will remain in my heart forever!

Whenever I think of Cindy, I remember her smiling. She was a wonderful person, always kind and thoughtful. I am honored to have worked with her at the library. She will be greatly missed.

All of us who worked with Cindy at the library over the years will miss her and her delightful laugh.  I wish blessings and peace for her family and friends who cared for her over these last several months.

Cindy was a light in my life for many years.  Always accepting of me, gracious, gentle, and fun.  She had a glow and a twinkle about her that always made our world a better place.  I will remember her as a glorious spirit.  I am so sorry for her family's loss.
