Born February 14, 1956 in Atlanta, GA, Dana was the daughter of the late Dan and Betty Ann Jordan. After moving to Charlotte with her family, she graduated from South Mecklenburg in 1974. She went on to attend Winthrop College, earning her teacher's degree. Dana later returned to Winthrop to earn her Master's Degree in reading. As a teacher for 35 years, Dana touched the lives of not only her many students, but their parents as well.
Dana was a kind, smart, loving and compassionate person. She enjoyed being active outdoors, hiking, walking, and biking. She also enjoyed the quiet side of life, watching and feeding the birds, quilting, reading and writing. She was a published author and was working on her second book when she passed. She enjoyed the many adventures that she shared with her husband.
Dana was a wonderful wife and friend to Bill. She was a true friend to all who knew her. She will be truly missed by all.
Dana is survived by her husband Bill, and her brother and his wife Clay and Kim Jordan.
