Every Sunday Dan was in the back of St Thomas doing the sound board, there was always a moment or two to laugh or smile. This was from the moment he walked in the church til the moment he and Maria left.
I'll miss you Dan.

  My wife, Beverly, and I knew Daniel Crockett only casually. We’d met at half a dozen gatherings of friends and family. I’m not that
“social”, but I found my self attending these affairs looking forward 
to conversing with Mr. Crockett and listening to the First Sergeant’s numerous stories of Army life. Fo every story I had about the Marine Corps, he had three or four about the Army to top mine..
Learning of his Army rank I recalled to him an old truism: “the sergeants run the Army, but the First Sergeant runs the sergeants”

So sorry to hear about Dan’s passing He always made people smile and laugh when he was around I will miss him at our meetings and his hat that he wore 

I'm sorry to hear of Dan's (Mr. Crockett to me) passing. He was always good to me as a kid and he was a dear friend of my step-dad, Bob Coulter.  My condolences to his loved ones and friends.

Brother Dan always shared his light with everyone he came in contact with. Though I only knew him for a brief moment, every memory I have of him is filled with grace and a light heart. His was the eternally optimistic soul. He always made every situation 'better' just by being there. Brother Dan was definitely a shinning example Jesus Christ's light and love. May God bless us, though we sorrow, until we meet once more. 

Dan had a way of making folks feel welcomed and we could tell he really enjoyed people’s company after church. So many families felt a heart filled love when he talked to them.  Memories of his laugh and smile will remain with us.   Love Mike and Denise Weiner and family.

Daniel was such a blessing. Always made time to make conversation and to always be sure to smile and say hello. 
This is a picture of him when he met my son Christopher when he was on leave from the Airforce. He thanked my son for his service.

I miss him a lot. He was instrumental in me joining the Knights of Columbus. The fondest thing I will always remember of him is the fun-free spirit he excludes irrespective of the place or occasion. When next I visit St. Thomas, it will be different because of his absence. But, I am happy that he is at peace with the lord. 

I always loved Dans sense of humor and friendly way. He will be missed. Prayers for his wife Maria and his whole family as I’m sure they are in mourning right now. May they be comforted by the Holy Spirit.

Sorry for the loss of such a GREAT man … always smiling … always fun … and always great to see him at church.  Dan likely will see little / if any time in purgatory!
