Darrell Kenneth Fincher

Darrell Fincher, 56, passed early Friday morning, September 16th, 2016. He was surrounded by his family, dear friends and so much love. He was born in Charlotte on April 17th 1960 to parents Earl and Ruby Fincher.

The service will be held Tuesday September 20th. Visitation is from 12pm-2pm, service to follow at 2pm. Location: McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Rd Charlotte, NC 28212. Join us in celebrating this amazing man's spirit.

Darrell was an exceptional man, coach, friend, father, and husband. He was, along with his wife, a Junior Bowling Coach for 15 years. He loved watching his juniors bowl and compete in tournaments. He was always so proud of their accomplishments. Even when they grew up he stayed in touch and they were fondly referred to as his bowling family. Darrell was also a big Harley Davidson enthusiast and loved riding his 2001 HD Fat Boy, dubbed "Earline" after his father and sister.

He is survived by his wife, Rita, with whom he had just celebrated their 37th anniversary, his children, Tabitha Clemmons and spouse Al of Gaston, SC, Tiffany Clemmons and spouse Jimmy of Gaston, SC, Travis Fincher and spouse Casey of Rock Hill,SC, Trisha Fincher of Charlotte, NC, his brother David Fincher of Knoxville Tennessee, and his grandchildren, Joshua, Cameron, Hailey and Bradley along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Geraldine Rice of Charlotte and brother Donnie Fincher of Charlotte.
