Rabbi David Kraus passed peacefully on Thursday, June 6, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. A man of faith and family, who may never get all the recognition that he deserves; his actions inspired, and will continue to help, countless people.
He passed on his love of music and teaching to both his children. He often said “that in all my years of teaching, I never got to teach enough.”
The Kraus family appreciates the wonderfully compassionate people at Levine & Dickson Hospice House at Southminster for their loving care of our father in his final days, and also thank all who provided care for him over the years.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice; the American Cancer Society; or a charity of your heart.
A Graveside Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, June 7th at the Hebrew Cemetery.
