David Michael Woodard, 65, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017. He was born in Asheville, NC on August 29, 1951 to the late Earl and Betty Woodard. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years; Linda, son; Edward Lee, and brother; Andrew.
Dave loved his country and proudly served in the United States Air Force, where he had the rank of Staff Sergeant at the time of his honorable discharge. He had a deep reverence and passion for veterans, wild life, and Native American culture. He made an immediate, memorable impact on everyone he met.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at McEwen Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28210.
