

Dolores attended Jane Addams High School in the Bronx and continued her education at Bronx Community College. She carried a lifelong love of learning and connection with others.
Dolores will be remembered as a beautiful, loving soul. Her beloved husband of 55 years, Jerome Monroe Alexander, describes her as “an angel sent to me,” and together they shared a deep and enduring bond as true soulmates. Their love was a shining example to all who knew them.
She was known for her kindness, warmth, and generous spirit. Dolores shared joy with everyone she met and lived a life full of love, compassion, and purpose. She was kind, helpful, and full of life, always ready to uplift others.
Dolores found great joy in reading, meeting new people, traveling, and giving to others. Her caring nature and vibrant personality left a lasting impression on all who crossed her path.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Jerome Monroe Alexander; her loving sisters, Dorothy “Dottie” Cales and Denise Hogans; and several nieces and nephews, including Mark Gales, Risha Gales, Renee Gales.
Dolores will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her loving heart, radiant spirit, and the joy she brought into the lives of others.
