Diane Marie Dautel

Charlotte - Diane Flament Dautel passed away on June 5, 2014 with her family by her side. Diane was 68 years old. She was born October 7, 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Robert and Mary Flament. She is predeceased by her brother, Greg and sisters, Gayle and Denise. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Timothy Dautel, her brother, Christopher Flament and wife Jean of Clearwater FL, and her four children, Sharon Gerald and husband Jeff, Michael Dautel and wife Heather, Brian Dautel and wife Kathleen, and Jackie Timmons and husband Chris. She is also survived by her six beloved grandchildren, Katie and Scott Gerald, Drew and Stewart Dautel, Ben Dautel, and Ally Timmons.

Diane has lived in Charlotte, NC since 1970. She was a member of Saint Gabriel’s Catholic Church and was very active at St Gabriel’s Catholic School throughout her children’s education. After raising her children, Diane began working as a scoring director at Measurement Inc. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and family, spending time with her grandchildren, and making people laugh.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carolinas Ovarian Cancer Fund at Levine Cancer Institute.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:15 p.m. prior to the Mass at the church.
