Douglas Edward Elliott, age 70, passed on September 6 at his home. He is the son of the late Leighton Elliott and Fannie Lee Elliott. He graduated Long Creek School in 1964. He worked for the North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles for 30 years and he was a member of Long Creek Masonic Lodge of Charlotte, NC.
Douglas is survived by one sister, Nancy Auten (Donald); one nephew, Danny Auten (Kim) and one niece, Terry Holsinger (David).
A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 10 at 1pm at Trinity United Methodist Church, 6230 Beatties Ford Rd, Charlotte, NC.
