Eddie C. Burrage

Eddie retired from Blythe Construction in 2019 and spent his time working around the house and yard, keeping busy. He was famous for his name “Eddie B”. Eddie B was surely one of a kind. He loved his kids, and his grandkids even more. His favorite thing to do was drink a COLD beer and hang out with his friends and family. Eddie B was always down for a good time, could make anyone in the room laugh and would dance to any music you played. He was a strong believer in God and we know he is in Heaven celebrating big. Eddie B will be missed by so many and we pray that we can keep his legacy alive.

Eddie B is survived by his daughter, Breanna Burrage, son in-law Brian Casey; his daughter in-law Nicole Burrage; grandchildren Braylen-Anthony, Novaleigh, Taylor, Lily and Austin; great-granddaughter Sawyer; and his sister, Ann Olszewski.

Eddie B was preceded in death by his mother, Joreatha Gray; his father, George Burrage; his brother, Ernie Burrage and his son, Philip Burrage.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Breanna Burrage at 3921 Sharyn Drive, Charlotte NC 28214 for assistance with funeral services.

A visitation for Eddie will be held Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC. A private burial will take place in Forest Lawn West Cemetery. Condolences may be submitted at www.forestlawnwest.com.
