Elizabeth was very thoughtful and never missed a friend’s birthday. She enjoyed special outings with the “BGs” to celebrate birthdays and nightly calls and visits with friends. She always wrote letters and notes, and sent uplifting cards to friends and to her children every week when they were in college and continued that loving effort for many years.
Elizabeth especially enjoyed her role as “Grammy” to her two grandchildren, always keeping up with every detail of their school and extra-curricular activities. She was an attentive playmate and never tired of reading books with them when they were younger.
