Born March 16, 1947 in Charlotte, Mr. Yarbrough was a graduate of Myers Park High School and continued his studies at Campbell College, where he received a degree in Education. He spent his career as an educator in several areas of North Carolina, and retired as Assistant Principal in Clinton, NC. His students will remember him as a consummate teacher, whose dedication and personal interest encouraged them to discover the best in themselves, and reach their highest potential.
Mr. Yarbrough is survived by his parents, Erwin K. Yarbrough, Sr. and Helen Parsons Yarbrough of Charlotte, and the many students whose lives he touched through the years.
A service to celebrate Mr. Yarbrough’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 30th in the Sharon Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
