Eugene Joseph Jendrasik

He was born in Detroit, Michigan, and was a proud graduate of Detroit Catholic Central, class of 1952. He went on to honorably serve in the United States Army as a medic in Stuttgart, Germany.

He loved nature and beautiful Northern Michigan, and played both the clarinet and saxophone, in his own band! He had a long and illustrious career with General Motors and after 39 years, retired as Administrator of General Motors Photographic.

Once retired, he and his wife Gloria traveled the country, eventually settling in Cocoa Beach, Florida. He then went on to manage his daughter Kathryn’s Dental Practice both in Florida and in Charlotte for the last 25 years!

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Gloria (Lenaway), daughters Michele (Anthony) Mormando, Drs. Kathryn (Ivan) Savitsky, and Emily (Joseph) Pabalan, Esq, and five wonderful grandchildren.

A memorial service for Eugene will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 11:00 AM at McEwen Funeral Service-Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28210, followed by a visitation at 12:00 PM.
