Frances was married to her husband the late John Clifford Long for 71 years until his death in 2013. They were long time residents of Charlotte until 2011 when they moved to SC.
Frances is survived by her two sons, Barry and his wife Dot of Spartanburg, SC, and Ron and his wife Jane of Lynch Station, VA. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren Carrie Long and her son Severin Puckett of Spartanburg, SC, Andy Long and his daughter Olivia Of West Chester, PA, and Erin Jessup and her husband Mark and their children Avery and Hunter of Whispering Pines, NC, plus numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
She was a beloved wife and mother, retired with Harris Teeter, loved cooking, painting, gardening and crafts. She and her husband were long time members of New Covenant ARP church in Charlotte.
