Frank Lyday Seay Jr.

Frank is survived by his beloved daughter, Autumn Seay Phillips (Neal), grandchildren; Rylee Phillips, Chase Phillips, stepson Chip McCaw, step-grandson Zachary McCaw, his father, Frank L. Seay, Sr., brother, Scott Seay (Joyce), sister, Donna Seay-Armstrong, brother-in-law, John Buckner (Gail), sister-in-law, Pat Mullins (Barry), and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife, JoAnne B. Seay, mother Frances Joann Seay, and stepdaughter, Natalie Hope McCaw.

Frank was very athletic and enjoyed many sports. When he was younger, he helped lead his soccer team to a State Championship, went on to play minor league hockey, and later became an avid golfer and road bike rider. He also had a love for music and had played guitar in a band in his younger days.

To know him was to know laughter as he brought humor into all things. We will carry that laughter in on our hearts until we meet again.

We ask you to please join us in celebrating his life at McEwen Funeral Home - Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Rd., Charlotte, NC 28210 on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at 1 pm. If desired, Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Research Foundation as his hope was to find a cure for the disease that took his mother and grandmother.
