

Frankie Mae Burrow, age 72, died Saturday, October 6, 2012 at her residence. A daughter of the late Samuel McCoy Wood and Jessie Shaw Wood, she was born on October 16, 1939 in Lake City, TN. Mrs. Burrow enjoyed photography, reading, old movies and embroidery. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
A visitation to celebrate the life of Frankie Mae Burrow will be held from 2:00PM to 4:00PM Saturday, October 13th at McEwen Funeral Service - Derita Chapel.
Mrs. Burrow is survived by a son, Stephen Bell of Charlotte; three daughters, Teresa Marshall and husband, Greg, of Pisgah Forest, Venessa Dillon of Lexington and Alisa Bell of Pisgah Forest; two sisters, Linda Spearman of Nashville, TN and Samantha Wood of Lexington; a brother, Raymond Wood of Johnson City, TN; three grandchildren, Kelly Sherman of Winston-Salem, Leslie Marshall of Pisgah Forest and Gregory Marshall of Folly Beach, SC; and a great-grandson, Jacob Sherman of Winston-Salem.
Mrs. Burrow’s family wishes to express their deep appreciation to Hospice & Palliative Care of Charlotte as well as Dr. Laura Lupton of North Charlotte Medical Specialists - University.
