Gabriel Ortiz

Gabriel Ortiz (37) passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019. A dedicated husband, father, son, brother, uncle and dear friend was taken way too early from his journey. He lost his battle to Hodgkins Lymphoma after fighting for nearly six years. He fought long and hard while providing for his family.

Gabriel is survived by his beautiful wife Niury Ortiz, his precious gifts of quadruplets, 2 sons and 2 daughters (age 11): Adyn, Juliana, Alivia, Gabriel, his mother Gricel Marina Ortiz, his father Rafael Ortiz, his sister Rosaline Nazario, his brothers Rafael Nazario, and Damian Ortiz, his father in-law Armando Guillen, his sister in-law Shannon Nazario, his 3 nieces (Lexi, Jaky, Isa), and his 4 nephews (Enrique, Xailin, Javy, AJ).

Gabe and Niury worked hard to build a small family owned business. Together they spent many years dedicating themselves to their business in order to provide for their family. Anyone who knew Gabe would describe him as an ambitious funny, smart, caring, daring and loving family man. He always put his wife and children first before himself. They are his legacy. He will be missed by all, but his memory will live on forever.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 5th, 2019 at 12 noon at Myers Park United Methodist Church located at 1501 Queens Road in Charlotte, NC. The family will greet friends immediately following the service.
