Geraldine (Gerry) Martin, 98 years of age, passed away on June 29, 2022 at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, NC. She had lived in Charlotte the past few years after moving from Elon, NC.
She was preceded in death by her late husband of 50 years, Wes Martin. Her three children and their families survive her: Curtis (Cathy) Martin of Titusville, FL, Barbara (Woody) Stone of Sandia Park, NM, and Maryann (Rick) Bateman of Charlotte, NC. She had six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Gerry was preceded in death by her siblings: Woodrow, Faye, Ann, Herman, and Scott.
Gerry graduated from Barium Springs High School and attended Elon College. Gerry worked as a bookkeeper in her earlier years before becoming a full time homemaker, gardener, and artist.

The family will have a private graveside service at a later date.
